Course of a conciliation procedure
The course of the conciliation proceedings is governed by our conciliation rules. The procedure is initiated by a written application to the conciliation office. The further course of the proceedings depends on whether the proceedings are conducted with or without an appointment.
The decisive factor in both proceedings is, as a rule, a settlement proposal which the conciliator submits with the agreement of the parties. This proposal corresponds to the outcome that the conciliators would expect in court proceedings.
